Edutecher Study Tool: YakiToME



 
 

YakiToMe is a significant and noteworthy method education for students with disabilities who may NEED their lessons to be converted into audio. It eliminates pressure and anxiety of reading for students who are struggling or challenged by it.  YakiToMe can be most influential with students who are sight impaired and those who are dyslexic.  It is also a great way for so called normal student who may WANT their lesson converted into audio.  These students can multitask and more proficiently complete assignments. This student can complete their lesson while walking home from school or doing chores around the house.  The text to speech conversion is easily uploaded using RSS feed. 

Professor Smith made it clear on the first day of class that teaching does not have to difficult.  Educators are more successful when they offer innovative and alternative methods to reach the students to keep them engaged.  This method also accommodates students and educators with overwhelming busy like styles.  The following is a step-by-step YouTube tutorial of how use YakiToMe to convert text to an MP3 player
